Our Story

Shasta Van Sickle, Founder

Shasta grew up in Arkansas where she enjoyed all things art and athletic -- including taking art classes at an early age. Fast forward a few years and she now lives in Arvada, CO with her husband and two young kids.

While planning her daughter’s first birthday party, Shasta realized she had a love for creating magical birthday parties. The more themed and handmade creations, the better! After hosting a handful of fun and creative parties for her own kids, friends started asking her to help with their children’s parties…and Dapper Daisies was born.

Why the name Dapper Daisies? Shasta was named after the shasta daisy flower, and dapper is a great representation of her ability to create lavish parties for both boys and girls. After all, Shasta has a daughter and son, who give her great perspective of what each little girl or boy would prefer for their special parties.

Shasta believes everyone deserves a special party to celebrate their birthday!

Our Mission

We will provide you the perfect Dapper Pinterest type party that you have always imagined, but just haven't had the time, energy, or creative abilities to make happen in time for that special day. We will create the perfect themed party for you and let you take the credit! We only ask that you kindly refer us on to provide the same kind of parties for your friends!

You will have the option of having us create the entire party for you including themed invitations, thank you cards, decorations, food items, and games OR you can pick and choose in an A'la Carte fashion to whatever items you would like to compliment your already planned party.

We have several themes to choose from, but are willing to consider other options if given enough time to prepare and create new themes from scratch.

Keep in mind that a basic birthday party that you throw on your own at a facility or even at your own homecan cost between $300-450 without help. Why not let someone else do this all for you for a little extra money? I promise, you won't regret leaving the stress and labor behind so that you can just enjoy your guests, your children, and your party!
